Dan first started in this field by assembling custom workstations and servers. Dan moved onto release engineering and for many years was the System Administrator and Network Administrator for a startup company of 20. He has multiple certifications including MCSE and MCSA, so he knows about Windows Server and Active Directory Administration as well as Microsoft SQL and Microsoft Exchange Administration. He also has a C|EH security certification and has experience testing and fixing holes in the security of computers and networks. He can troubleshoot problems with, software, and networking equipment such as Ethernet cables, routers, firewalls, DSL, cable modem, and Wi-Fi.
